The most susceptible area of the skin where under eye wrinkles are concerned will be the area of the orbital bone. Around the whole of the eye and out onto the temple known as crows feet.
Preventing collagen and elastin breakdown is important to many of us and we usually don't realize that the collagen breakdown has already begun until we begin noticing wrinkles.
Eye Wrinkle Free
I hope you will walk away from this site with information in preventing, camouflaging and erasing these wrinkles under the eye.
Here's a few but very common causes..
Aging, squinting, lack of sleep, exhaustion, allergies, windblown and dry skin, Accutane, too much sun, unhealthy eating diet and smoking.
It is so important to take care of the skin as well as nourish it properly.
Especially here in the West where sugary drinks and Starbucks are the norm. Be sure that you are getting enough water. Your skin needs hydration and will show its thirst through the skin.
God made the body to be nourished and if each cell is turning over and recreating itself, it must recreate itself with real food. Not processed sugary and fast man made alterations.
Real foods like salmon contain good fats (i.e. omega 3 fats), also try to eat a rainbow of fruits and vegetables to help rejuvenate the skin.
It can seem overwhelming, when you begin to think of a healthy eating lifestyle. So just start taking baby steps and eventually your diet will improve and so will your skin.
Makeup does a wonderful job in covering up under eye wrinkles, but too much makeup can become a bigger problem.
It can settle into fine lines making the wrinkles look more noticeable. Remember to have a light touch . The goal here is to make it soft and dewy. And that is easily attainable with a little practice.
When using foundation the trick is to moisturize which will encourage the makeup to sink into the skin better.
This is a brilliant way to give the skin the moisture it needs as well as act like a foundation.
Its very light in color, so you won't need to worry as much about caking up those under eye lines. Depending on the brand and quality it will ensure a light and dewy finish.
Don't forget to moisturize the skin under the eye on a regular basis! This is very important if you are seeking that soft skin look and to reduce lines under eyes.
You can use an eye cream to help break down the makeup making it spreadable for the under eye area as long as it is light and not too greasy.
Primer is like preparing a "canvas" on your face for makeup. It creates a barrier between the skin and the foundation and allows the makeup to stay on longer. It will also give the ability for you to use less foundation.
The primer will maintain the pigmentation of the foundation and give it an all day staying power.
In some cases certain primer products will help fill in any fine lines of the skin as well. It has the ability to "fill" in the lines and wrinkles.
It can also be helpful for facial scars. It will level out the skin, allowing the makeup to be applied more evenly and smoothly. Some primers will have mineral pigments that reflect light away from fine lines and wrinkles.
Using a primer under the eye will give you a smoother application as well as help the makeup stay on longer. It can help fill in those fine lines.
The product that I am loving is INVISI-LINE. It's a unique primer based product. It is designed specifically to fill in any fine lines under the eyes or even around the mouth and forehead.
I use the INVISI-LINE under my eyes before I apply my concealer and foundation. Not only does it smooth the skin like a moisturizer would, but it does not allow any of my makeup to cake up. I love it!
A good concealer needs to easily blend into the skin. It shouldn't be too light or too heavy. You don't want to show that you are wearing makeup, but that your skin looks naturally dewy and soft.
You can buy a light reflecting liquid mineral foundation and concealer. This will reflect light away from under eye wrinkles and give the skin a more radiant appearance.
Mineral powder foundation, is a great way to lightly cover the face without the worry that you will be caking up those lines. You do still have to be careful with powder though, remember less is more.
Stay away from bright glittery eyeshadow colors. Except for a white highlighting color for the inner tear duct. Other then that, the shimmer will only draw more attention to those fine lines and crows feet.

Under Eye Wrinkles Cream
Under eye wrinkles creams are great in moisturizing dried aging skin. You don't carry any oil glands under your eyes, so this area will be more susceptible to dryness.
Some of the best under eye creams are the ones that are rich enough to hydrate throughout the night, but not be so rich that you see little Millia (little dots under the skin) form on the face.
Remember that a little goes a long way. It is easy to think that more is better with under eye wrinkle cream due to the dryness of the wrinkles, but actually, less is more in this case.
Many eye creams are packed with rich ingredients. It may be a little amount in that small bottle, but it should last you a long time.
A personal favorite is Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.
It is the best under eye wrinkle cream out there!
Of course it is an oil and many people find that gross, but this oil is a little different then the feel of Olive Oil. It has a moisturizing feel, but not so greasy that the skin feels drenched.
I used coconut oil every night before bed while I was pregnant and there is not a single stretch mark on my belly. I love this stuff!
This is perfect before bedtime. I remove my eye makeup first with the coconut oil and then apply liberally all over my face. Virgin Coconut Oil is known for it's hydrating properties it is also anti fungal, bacterial, and viral. To know more about coconut oil click here (coming soon).
Our body and skin need rest.
If you are young and seeing lines under the eyes or on the face, you may not be getting enough sleep or have a crazy sleep schedule.
Sleeping on the back is best for the face. If you are sleeping on your stomach the face will easily crease into the bed making it that much easier for premature lines.
